In this, my second album, I was inspired by Portsmouth, OH singer/songwriter Josiah Whitley who had just released an
album of music and paintings called “Moon Songs” I got to thinking what is it that makes us write songs, perform in
front of strangers and pursue the dream of writing that perfect song? “I Have A Dream”, along with the upbeat and happy, “Blue Sky” are
some classics from my days in South Africa in the 1980’s and 90’s …. “Like Sand” about love getting away, “My Life”
inspired by the rioting and killing in SA hugely contrasted by the laid back “Reality’s Dreams” questioning our
perceptions of truth.
