This album includes some of my new songs from over the spring/summer of 2019 but includes both “Cruel World”and “The Junkman”

from the 1980’s in South Africa. New ideas were, again, pouring in as can be heard in “The Ballad of Pleasant Plain”,

“Songwriter’s Eyes”, “Wunderbar!”, “Toffee” (about our neighbours’ dog that died), the title track I wrote after being told

by my doctor to stop drinking beer and “No Place Like Home”.

“How Can A Man?” about how cruelly we can treat those slightly different to, or less fortunate than, ourselves.
