This album features my first couple of collaborations. Misty Drake wrote the words for “Late In The Night” and

posted them to Facebook. I immediately thought I’d like to do something with them and ask if I could. The title

track, “This Road” was again inspired by Misty when she posted a version of the poem fromTolkien’s, “The Hobbit” 

“Snowflakes” – inspired by a drive in the snow to my daughter’s school, “Land of Green and Gold” about

South Africa. “Guernica” (Gernika) – the tragic story of the FIRST aerial bombing raid on civilians in Spain, 1937.

Also one of only TWO Afrikaans songs I have written – this one about dried meats… enjoy!
