INCLUDES THE SONG FOR UKRAINE – “THE DAY THE SOLDIERS CAME”

This has to be my favourite album so far with another couple of songs about South Africa,

(“Herinneringe” (meaning memories or reminders) and UMvelinqangi”),

my dear mum, who passed away in January 2021 (“Joan Walker”),

the American Civil War (“Forever The Season For Killing”),

Spring Time,(“Stepping Into Spring” and “Open Up Your Eyes”) The Morning, Edinburgh’s “Calton Hill”

and even wee Moffat gets a mention in “Wheels Keep Turning”.

Sometimes, I just go busking – then it’s not a contest! The title track is more than a little bit autobiographical….
